Photographer Kourosh Sotoodeh and I teamed up once again to create what we think is an amazingly powerful image and message.  Underneath, we are all the same: LOVE HAS NO RELIGION.  LOVE TRUMPS HATE.  We all love, we all have desire, we all have passion, and we are all beautiful.  No matter what clothes we choose to wear on the outside, once that is stripped away we are left with one thing: HUMAN DESIRE.  This image captures the essence of what it is to be a woman in an East meets West landscape.

With everything that is going on in the world it is easy to get caught up in the media, and start passing judgements based on stereotypes.   I was always taught to not judge a book by it’s cover, and to love freely.   Being a Fashion Stylist and Designer I know that with clothing, and with the right hair and make up I can make anybody into anything.  I have worked with models, performers, and actors from around the world.  I watch drastic transformations happen everyday working on photoshoots and film sets………but then night falls……….and the clothes come off, and the make up is washed away………and the truth is revealed.  This truth is that once the “mask” is stripped away, we are all the same.  We all have the same desire to be loved.
